Daily Cycle has seen a lot of new subscribers recently. Maybe it’s because we have two awesome new article writers; Nathan who writes very eloquently about city cycling, commuting and getting around with banged up old bikes. And Rob, our newest writer who is a serious road cycling fan with an awesome carbon bike and a love of climbing hills!
These two new cycling heroes are definitely helping keep you faithful readers loyal but when I analyze my stats I see an awful lot of searchers looking for entry level road bikes. This is great because it confirms my suspicions that more and more people are getting into road cycling.
Beginners are an essential addition to any sport. Without beginners things dry up, stop evolving and slowly die out. So whatever the age or ability of an entry level cyclist, they should be nurtured and helped along every step of the way. Which ultimately has always been the main aim of this blog.
So, over the next few weeks, there will be some more articles for beginner cyclists and also for more experienced cyclists, including:
- Autumn bargain bikes,
- How to stay warm this winter,
- How to continue your training and even racing through the colder months,
- And much, much more.
So, a big thanks to all those loyal readers, without you this would be a thankless task. And a very warm welcome to all you new readers. Whatever your level of cycling, I guarantee there is something for everyone at Daily Cycle.
And if you haven’t already, why not subscribe to the feed? You now have multiple options:
- Subscribe by email (most popular option), this delivers the latest articles straight to your inbox every Monday,
- Subscribe to the RSS feed – this is a standard RSS feed to be used with your Google reader or other RSS reading tool,
- Get the all new iGoogle widgets! This gives you two widgets for iGoogle, one is a Daily Cycle search widget, the other is a mini RSS reader to deliver the latest posts right to your iGoogle page. Nice.
- Follow me on Twitter. This will give you links to the latest articles as they are published (as well as my other random posts).
P.S. We are still looking for a female cyclist to write for us so if you’re interested then get in touch.
Likewise, if you would like to see some articles about a particular part of cycling then feel free to contact me and let me know. It’s always good to hear from new people.
Ciao for now, Happy Cycling :)
