Posted November 03, 2010
Mark Sansby – winner of the competition for the Exposure light set has kindly submitted two cycling clubs to the cycling club directory. One is a road racing team, the other is a mountain bike club (remember – mountain biking is especially awesome in the winter).
Road: Dales Racing Team – Cornwall
Run by Dales Motor Group in Cornwall. With around 70 members, The Dales Racing Team is a new cycling team based in Cornwall.
Our members take part in Road Racing, Time Trails and Cyclosportives. Membership is free and the club is fully affiliated with British Cycling and CTT (Cycling Time Trials).
There are regular Tuesday evening rides during the summer / autumn together with other rides organised through the FaceBook page. Speeds vary from 15mph average to around 19-20mph. All rides geared towards the slowest rider on the day. Anyone in Cornwall wanting to join a road club can't do better - free to join, excellent kit and for car drivers, you even get a free MOT!
