Complete Time Trial Training Guide by Daily Cycle

the race of truth

Coming soon is a complete guide to not only getting into Time Trialling but more importantly – smashing your personal best time and improving over and over again.

These sound like bold statements but, this season, amateur cyclist Andy Ward had a goal of beating the 24 minute mark – a goal which seemed tough but reachable. With the help of resident Daily Cycle pro coach Andy Brodziak, he managed it with a time of 23:40.

He thought he could not do any better. But he continued to train and take advice. Low and behold he went on to set a further personal best of 22:57!!!

We want to share this knowledge with you, the everyday cyclist. Maybe you have tried a couple of time trials, maybe you haven’t. Perhaps you would like to try one but have been unsure of where to start or the level you need to be at to take part. Perhaps you have done a few time trials but have reached a plateau.

Whatever your time trial dreams are, this guide will help you. More than just a stale training plan, you’ll get:

  1. Training advice
  2. Nutrition advice for training and racing
  3. Gear advice
  4. Info on how to find Time Trials near you
  5. Accounts from regular cyclists who have faced and conquered “the race of truth”.
  6. Psychological tips
  7. Help on approaching the course.
  8. much, much more…
