Like Pain? Win a free copy of a Sufferfest video
Posted December 05, 2011
If you regularly use an indoor trainer such as a turbo trainer or rollers you probably have some video footage or music that you consume whilst you train to help pass the time. You probably also have some grotty dungeon like bedroom / garage / shed / living room / study etc where you do the training. If so, read on my friend – we have a great competition for you…
Head on over to The Suffer Fest. If you’ve not heard of them then you’re in for a treat. Well actually, you’re in for a whole bunch of pain, but as a cyclist who regularly trains indoors – you probably like that sort of thing.
They offer a whole load of very well crafted training videos for you to use during your sessions. The videos include plenty of high quality footage and some great tunes. The quality of their product is the reason why they have been reviewed so highly by the likes of cyclingnews.com and why they have circa 9000 fans on Facebook.
Win a torturous training video
We have 5 copies of the aptly named Hell Hath No Fury to giveaway. This is a great video that includes the highlights of a full years worth of UCI Pro Women’s racing footage from the World Cup. The likes of Emma Pooley, Evelyn Stevens, Marianne Vos and so on are all featured.
With a heavy electronic soundtrack throughout, this video has received some serious praise and has been labelled as a “real ball breaker”. All I can say is good luck!
How To Win
The way to win is simply by being an active member of the Daily Cycle Facebook Page.
You will see that we have a “top fans” tab on the page. It automatically gives you points every time you like, comment on a post, write on our wall, upload pictures, have your comments liked etc.
At the end of this month (December 2011) the top 5 fans on the leader board will be offered this prize (and possibly some others). If you are a winner but do not want the prize then it will be offered to the next top fan and so on so it’s well worth boosting your rank even if you don’t think you can make the top spot.
Top tip: If you have an account (free) with booshaka.com then you can see how many points etc you get for each interaction you make ;-) but it’s not a requirement to have an account with them to enter. All Daily Cycle fans are on the list.
Good luck!
