Fearne Cotton and other celebs take on the John O’Groats to Lands End Cycle challenge.

From the sport relief website:

Seven celebrities, 1,000 miles, four days. To raise £1 million for Sport Relief, this incredible team will take turns to cycle non-stop across the UK, setting off on March 1st. Please help them get there - sponsor the team now.

I think it’s great to see these guys take on this challenge for charity. They are taking it in turn to cycle continuously. They estimate that its around 80 hours of cycling, or around 12 hours each.

I heard in an interview this morning that David Walliams (the team leader of the challenge) got four punctures in one training session – harsh. In the same session, Fearne fell off the bike a couple of times at slow speed. Sounds like they’ve got a fair amount of training to do – and not much time to do it in!!!

If you want to sponsor them, you can (and should) – check out the site - http://www.sportrelief.com/whats-on/challenges/cycle

Happy Cycling :)
